Parvati Hills lacked a structured wayfinding system, making navigation difficult for visitors and reducing the overall experience of exploring a culturally significant public space.

A cohesive wayfinding and signage system was designed using place inspired iconography, patterns, maps, and an identity language that improves clarity while respecting the cultural character of Parvati Hills.

The proposed system improves visitor navigation, enhances the walkthrough experience, and creates a consistent visual identity for Parvati Hills that supports both functionality and cultural relevance.

APPROACH

The project began with on site recce and user focused research conducted by a team of five. Each member developed individual design directions, which were later merged into one unified system. The final outcome included iconography, map design, signage placement planning, typography selection, and material recommendations based on environment and cost.
